Rotary District 3830 Leads the Call for a Polio-Free Future

Every child deserves the chance to grow up healthy and free from preventable disease. This World Polio Day 2026, Rotary District 3830 joins communities, Rotarians, Rotaractors, and partners across the world in strengthening the call to End Polio Now.
Under the theme “Create Lasting Impact for a Polio-Free Future,” Rotary District 3830 will mark World Polio Day through a community-focused Polio Vaccination Activity and Motorcade in Parañaque City on October 24, 2026.
Creating Lasting Impact Through Community Action
For decades, Rotary has been at the forefront of the global effort to eradicate polio. World Polio Day provides an opportunity to renew that commitment—not only by raising awareness, but by bringing communities together in support of vaccination and public health.
This year’s District 3830 activity highlights the importance of collective action. Through vaccination activities and a motorcade, Rotary members and community partners will help bring the End Polio Now message closer to the people.
Event Highlights
The World Polio Day 2026 activities will begin with:
Polio Vaccination
📅 October 24, 2026
⏰ 7:00 AM
📍 Parañaque City
Following the vaccination activity, participants will gather for an End Polio Now Motorcade, scheduled at approximately:
🏁 8:30 AM
The motorcade will bring the message of polio eradication onto the streets of Parañaque City, encouraging greater awareness and community participation in the fight against polio.
A Collaboration for a Polio-Free Future
The activity is being held in collaboration with Vice Mayor PP Benjo Bernabe, the Rotary District 3830 World Polio Day Chair – Metro South, and participating Rotary clubs.
The Lead Host Clubs are:
- Rotary Club of Makati Ayala Triangle
- Rotary Club of Makati Cristo Rey
The Host Clubs include:
- Rotary Club of Palanyag Parañaque
- Rotary Club of Las Piñas
- Rotary Club of Parañaque North
- Rotary Club of Makati West
This collaboration reflects the spirit of Rotary—bringing together different clubs, organizations, and community stakeholders around a shared purpose.
